Clipboard

The CLIPBOARD is a temporary storage place in memory for cut or copied objects. The contents of the Clipboard can be pasted into a file or program. Each 'cut' or 'copy' operation overwrites the previous Clipboard contents (which remain in the Clipboard until overwritten by the next object).
